I am really enjoying my new Esse range, which offers all the best aspects of traditional cast iron cooking, with an induction hob and full size grill! Esse are British made and a British owned, family company.

Now also the proud owner of an Aga 60, a brilliant cooker!

Sarah Whitaker was known as The Aga Lady for over twenty years.  She is one of the most experienced of the cookery demonstrators trained by Aga.  Sarah is widely recognised as an expert in Esse, Aga and cast iron range cooking.

She brings you demonstrations, Aga and range cooker classes and books packed with quick and easy ideas to make cooking and entertaining less of a marathon.

Sarah will teach individuals or groups and whilst she can focus on Esse, Aga and  cast iron range cooking, she is happy to give general cooking lessons  and specific technique lessons, whether you have an Esse or an Aga, or not.

From her home in rural Hampshire, Sarah specialises in Esse, Aga and range cooker classes and demonstrations, and writing recipes. Well known for her relaxed style and effortless recipes, she regularly gives demonstrations and classes in showrooms, cookery schools and private houses throughout the UK and now worldwide on Zoom. Her career has been interesting and varied: cooking in staff canteens, wine bars, city dining rooms, a dress shop and even a converted van in the middle of a field - feeding film crews, cabinet ministers and rock stars!

Sarah has appeared on Meridian TV, on several BBC and independent radio stations, in the Aga Magazine, The Lady, the Sunday Times, House Beautiful, the Jersey Evening Post and the international cookery magazine Semana Cocina. Her Christmas feast appeared in US House & Garden and one of her wedding cakes has even been in Hello! magazine. Her 'Christmas Made Easy' demonstration was featured in the Salisbury Journal, who dubbed her "The Queen of the Range". More recently, she was interviewed for 'Wiltshire Society' magazine and for the 'Style' section of the Sunday Times.

Sarah is happy to demonstrate for you in her own home or in yours: gather a group of friends and spend a morning learning all about cast iron cooking, just for fun, or as an unusual charity fundraising event.  Click here for prices.
